Pearson Farming Grass Finished Beef

Our farming system was structured primarily to supply our family with the type of meat we want to consume and feed to our children. This core principle has remained as we developed the project into a commercial enterprise over the past seven years. We implement a sustainable, minimal-impact farming system using rotational grazing and the cattle are 28-32 months old at slaughter. Sam personally selects, transports, and ensures the quiet handling of each animal on the day of slaughter at a family-run butchery in Eryri (Snowdonia), with whom we've developed a strong working partnership over the years, ensuring consistent high-quality products.

Our beef is available during the last week of each month from June to December. We offer beef boxes containing assorted cuts in two sizes: medium (min. 5 kg), and large (min.10 kg). Since 2022 we have included the option to buy a full side of beef (approx. 105 kg) which will fit within a mid-sized domestic chest freezer. This option has become increasingly popular among groups of family or friends sharing, or for that special occasion with large numbers of guests to feed. For our cattle to be finished within the grass-growing season our beef products are not available January-April. We therefore encourage our regular customers to freeze a stock of autumn beef for use over winter.

We prefer payment via bank transfer (BACS).  If you choose a medium or large beef box we will email an invoice with our bank details when we’re ready to send the beef. Home delivery via the overnight courier firm Delsol is included in the price of both boxes.

For a whole side of beef we require a deposit. The remainder of your invoice will be calculated once the beef is packed and the exact weight is known. Several delivery options are available. We can arrange for you to collect direct from the butchery or, if you live within a 1.5 hour drive from the LL22 postcode, we can deliver to your home or meet you en route at no extra cost. For destinations further afield we would need to use our usual courier service. If you're considering purchasing a side of beef we recommend contacting us before placing an order to confirm availability and expected date of delivery and, if required, to receive a quote for delivery.
